1. Who we are

Fides ("we", "our", "us") is a loyalty-points tracker for hotel and airline programs and transferable points. We help you see what your points are worth and keep them organised. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Fides does not track credit-card spending and does not connect to your bank.

2. Information we collect

Account information

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Password — handled by our authentication provider and stored only as a secure hash; we never see it

Loyalty information you add

  • The loyalty programs you track and their balances
  • Your own valuation (cents-per-point) settings
  • Stays and promotions you log (hotel name, points earned, dates)
  • Optional account numbers you choose to enter

Content you send us

  • Feedback messages you submit
  • Questions you ask the in-app concierge

We do not collect credit-card numbers, bank logins, or your loyalty-program passwords.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide the service: store your portfolio, calculate valuations, and show analytics
  • To answer your questions through the in-app concierge
  • To respond to feedback you send us
  • To keep your account secure

4. Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to run Fides:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting for your account and loyalty data.
  • OpenAI — when you ask the concierge a question, your message is sent to OpenAI to generate a reply. Please don't include sensitive personal details in those messages.
  • Resend — delivers feedback emails you choose to send us.

These providers process data only to provide their service to us. We never sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. How your data is protected

  • Each account's data is isolated at the database level so only you can read or change your own records.
  • Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
  • You can enable Face ID / Touch ID to lock the app on your device.

6. Keeping and deleting data

We keep your information for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account at any time from the app — this permanently removes your profile and all your loyalty data. You can also contact us to request access to, or deletion of, your information.

7. Children

Fides is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date above when we do, and significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
